Hell Girl and Babe Sapien

April 28, 2011 by Andrew Girdwood Leave a Comment

These aren’t Hell Boy and Abe Sapien but they’re still fantastic cosplay. These pictures show A_Riddle as Hell Girl aka HellGrrl and Idleambition as Babe Sapien. I highly recommend checking through both of those Flickr accounts when you have time. What do you think? Via the increasingly popular Geeks are Sexy.

Night Fears from Evil Hat Productions – the company lucky enough to have the Dresden Files RPG license – is a free to download casefile. It’s a pre-written adventure designed for 3 to 7 characters at the “Feet in the Water” power level. The Dresden Files RPG uses the FATE rule system and so the […]

Weebl: For Science, You Monster

April 26, 2011 by Andrew Girdwood Leave a Comment

It looks like they got some science on them! Let’s turn to Weebl and Bob to help us stay in the Portal zone. Did you know the turrets were in a band called Radio Head? Weebl’s in it too. Sure. There’s a band with a similar name but I’m not sure which one came first. […]

Gatling slingshot

April 26, 2011 by Andrew Girdwood Leave a Comment

The Slingshot Channel has featued on Geek Native before. We’ve had a machette firing slingshot – a video in which Jorg Sprave manages to cut his arm open. There’s no such accidents in this “full auto” slingshot but I notice how bashed up his hands are. Jorg has a dangerous hobby. It’s a dangerous hobby […]

Sony’s S1 and S2 Android tablets are mondo sexhay!

April 26, 2011 by Andrew Girdwood Leave a Comment

Okay folks! You’ll have seen the news that Sony has finally announced they’ll be doing Android tablets. Both devices are PlayStation certified, use mobile and wifi, run Android 3.0 and can even be used as a remote. The S2, in particular, has my eye. It looks more travel friendly. It can also be used as […]

Immortals sneak peak on YouTube

April 26, 2011 by Andrew Girdwood Leave a Comment

The sound quality is awful. I think someone had a camera pointed at their TV screen last night when E! had a sneak peat the forthcoming Immortals film. This one of those post-300 movies and even with this poor quality video you’ll be able to see it. The moie also has Henry Cavill in it […]

TR3N / Tron 3: Destiny trailer is a fake

April 26, 2011 by Andrew Girdwood 6 Comments

There’s a bit of a battle raging in the YouTube comments for this trailer. Is this a fake or not? The uploader, antovolk3 suggests it may not be real but others have suggested Disney and Warner Bros have YouTube yanked other copies of the video so surely that means it has to be real? Have […]

Interactive Plush Portal Turret

April 26, 2011 by Andrew Girdwood Leave a Comment

The turrets in Portal are cute. This is known. Hurray to Leigh Nunan (plushie designer) and Jonathan Guberman (electronics dude) for the interactive plushie Portal turret. I think this might send the wrong message. In this video the turret gets knocked over a few times. Who would do that to the poor turrets? You’re supposed […]
