We know Matsuyama from Death Note. Gantz is one of the few 18-rated anime movies that you can easily pick up in the UK. As well […]

Yu Gi Oh meets Pearl and Dean
This was produced just for Alcon 2009 and was shown before the opening ceremony. What do you think of the voice? Reminded me of Spongebob’s own version of this where he also sings along with the famous Pearl and Dean intro. It also reminded me why so many people prefer their anime in Japanese and […]

Over the States Spike TV is has some of the forthcoming Halo Legends series. That’s right, Halo in an anime style. Hopefully the show will make it over to the United Kingdom where we’ve heard of both Halo and of anime! Tell us what you think – worthy of a transatlantic hop, or not? It […]
Lucky Star: Fan video shows dancing Hiiragi sisters
We’re all now used to the wealth of impressive anime fan art but what about some impressive fan video? I don’t just mean a slideshow of stills from the anime set to some good music – I mean a CG animation of the Hiiragi sisters from Lucky Star dancing a way. It’s a slight shame […]

Also working on the project will be Ji Young-jun the producer of […]
Strait Jacket review
Strait Jacket is an anime that has a lot of promise but which fails to make good. Set in an alternative history we have a world where they discovered magic and have begun to harness it. It’s 1899 but we have cars, machine guns and great medical science. Magic, however, comes with a terrible price. […]
The Zanpakutō of the Shinigami and Vizard
Bleach is great, but it has an ever-expanding cast list I do sometimes struggle with the names. Combine that with the names of the Zanpakutō, and it quickly gets complicated! I’m up to 234 of the anime and, with some research, have put together a list of Shinigami, Vizard, and the Zanpakutō we know about. […]
