I wasn’t blown away at the news there would be another Three Musketeers movie. It was beginning to feel that that Dumas’ book had spawned a series of movies that somehow fed off themselves. We’ve also already had a Three Musketeers movie that featured Tim Curry; where can you go from there? (The same movie […]

Sif vs The Destroyer teaser bundled with Jamie Alexander interview
This video contains a short clip of Sif battling The Destroyer – actually, she’s not alone. I suspect this is the scene where the Asgardians are figuring out The Destroyer is going to be a pain in the neck. The rest of the clip – still worth watching – is an interview with American TV […]

Let is not be said that this blog fails to provide academic stimulation or encourage debates on the core truths of life. To begin this journey into education and wisdom let us start with somewhere safe, secure and understood: Star Wars. Harry Potter and the Deathly Hallows – Part 2 trailer
The trailer (the real one this time) for Harry Potter and the Deathly Hallows – Part 2 is out. Apparently it’s been a bit of a battle for US blogs to find a legit and embeddable version of this – but this post is coming from the UK, I was probably in bed when the […]
Immortals sneak peak on YouTube
The sound quality is awful. I think someone had a camera pointed at their TV screen last night when E! had a sneak peat the forthcoming Immortals film. This one of those post-300 movies and even with this poor quality video you’ll be able to see it. The moie also has Henry Cavill in it […]
TR3N / Tron 3: Destiny trailer is a fake
There’s a bit of a battle raging in the YouTube comments for this trailer. Is this a fake or not? The uploader, antovolk3 suggests it may not be real but others have suggested Disney and Warner Bros have YouTube yanked other copies of the video so surely that means it has to be real? Have […]
Marvel’s Little Thor ad spoofs Volkswagen’s “The Force”
Marvel will have a hit with this advert for Thor. It spoofs the famous Volkswagen “The Force” ad that ran for the Super Bowl and became a huge internet hit. It’s also funny in its own right. If you’ve not seen the original; you’ll still enjoy this. What do you think?
Cowboys & Aliens trailer
Did you expect to see Harrison Ford in a blasters and aliens movie again? It’ll be really interesting to see whether Col. Woodrow Dolarhyde channels any Solo at all. What’s clear, I think, is that the cinema trailer for Cowboys & Aliens looks pretty cool. It feels like Ironman. Doesn’t look anything like Ironman but […]
Rise of the Planet of the Apes trailer and monkey doom!
This is the trailer for James Franco‘s Rise of the Planet of the Apes. I’m getting mixed feedback on this. I thought the trailer looked pretty good. It gets to the point straight away – what’s good, what’s evil, can you tell the two apart? It seems to do that in a way that’s not […]
Project Manhattan prequels Project London
It’s been a while since we looked Project London but it’s worth keeping this indie film on your radar. As a reminder; this is a no budget, open source software using, fan backed production that shows every sign of being awesome. This week the Project London universe expanded and the franchise showed signs of what […]
