Bonfire Productions have a multimedia module on Kickstarter for D&D. It’s a campaign setting and adventure of eldritch horror complete with a soundtrack, and it’s set in the sky.
Multimedia usually means a larger campaign goal, and there’s some of that reflected on The Alhami Sky total, but the project has just launched and gained immediate traction. The goal is CA$30,000, and there’s CA$1,300 or so pledged in the opening hours. You can, as always, track progress via the project page.
There’s everything from very pretty red mist dice, to miniatures, art, sound and the actual setting an adventure book in this campaign.
The Kickstarter makes clear that the setting is intended to feel split. Look at it once, perhaps with fresh eyes, and you see blue skies and buccaneer adventurers travelling from one floating island to another. Look at it again, look downwards, and see the hellscape of red mist and horrors below.
The red mist is evil. It’s the result of a ritual. This is a self-inflicted wound. There’s a dark god, complete with army and generals who have turned their attention to snubbing out the few remain sky-bound survivors.
A pledge of CA$20 (about £12) will get you the digital PDF and soundtrack for the game. Step up to CA$30 and get four 3d printable miniature files added.
If you want the hardback, then that’s CA$45 but includes all the digital offerings above. CA$75 adds in paper maps and tokens while CA$125 is the top tier with the dice and even a map printed on fabric.
