Descent into Midnight has a Kickstarter with a different feel to it. It’s slick and professional, but casual and emotive. The tabletop RPG itself is also quite different in that players take on the roles of psionic aquatic creatures of their own creation.

There’s a Limited Edition of Descent into Midnight, that also results in a library donation and a mention in the Streampunks Episodes if you can do $110.

The first two stretch goals are unlocked, which means two streaming episodes but also a printable PDF of Harmony and Corruption tokens for your Community Playbook. That gives us an insight into the game’s mechanics, and theme – Community is right at the heart.
The PCs in the game are community guardians and have to protect against physical, emotional, and even existential threats. The gameplay is about the relationships between guardians. Remember, though, you could be a sentient bubble, a magical kelp forest or an angsty fish.
