The Kingdoms, Warfare & More Minis Kickstarter from Matt Colville has already beaten Root RPG, putting $886,500 into the pledge fund in just a few days. It’s on track to be one of the biggest RPG projects of the year.
At the time of writing, there are 25 days to pledge to the campaign, as over 11,000 tabletop gamers have done to raise nearly $1 Million Dollars.
Colville’s first Kickstarter, Strongholds & Followers became one of the top 100 Kickstarters of all time and raised more than $2 Million dollars.
It takes a pledge of $25 to join the action. That’s enough to get you the Kingdoms & Warfare PDF when it’s due out in May next year.
Step up to $40, and you’ll get the hardcover as well as the PDF.
Nearly 150 people have pledged $1,000 to secure the hardcover, PDF, a sticker, an exclusive Gemstone dragon mini, an exclusive t-shirt and all stretch goals.
The book builds on Strongholds & Followers and provides more advanced rules for the kingdoms PCs could build around their strongholds going to war with rivals.
An actual Kingdom isn’t needed, though. The PCs powerbase could be a Church, guild or secret organisation.
