Modiphius are kicking it up a gear with their newly won Vampire: The Masquerade v5 license. They have announced new books and an official organised play program.
New releases for Vampire 5e include;
The Fall of London is in development and will be the first official Chronicle for Vampire 5e. It is set during the Second Inquisition and as the characters awake from torpor to find the city burning.
Steffie De Vaan is the lead developer on the project, working with a team of Londoners and industry veterans.
Vampire: The Masquerade 5th Edition Players Guide has also been announced. It will have an overview of all 13 Kindred clans.
The trend for essentials, quickstarts, jumpstarts and starter kits continue as Modiphius are also working on a Vampire: The Masquerade 5th Edition Starter Set. The goal of this product is to lure people into the game with abridged rules at a lower price.
The books will be in stores by February 2020, but the Fall of London and Player’s Guide will be available as PDFs before Christmas.
Vampire organised play
You can sign up to the Vamprie organised play at the Modiphius website.
The publisher is planning a global event with partners. Players get access to a series of free Chronicles that have been designed for convention play.
Modiphius are asking for input on how the program should be run. In fact, they’re also recruiting beta testers for future Vampire 5e projects.
Are you enjoying Vampire 5th edition? How do you feel about the game after its Origins Award win and transfer from White Wolf to Modiphius?
In fact, I was wondering where is my Lasombra! So I’m really happy to hear Players Guide and Feb. 2020 seems okay to me. I hope we can get enough information about the sects in the Player Guide.
