Eclipse Phase is a transhuman sci-fi RPG from Posthuman Studios.

Transhuman fits between the human-era we know now and a distant, posthuman-era, we won’t be able to recognise. The term itself dates back to 1949 when it was coined by the French philosopher Pierre Teilhard de Chardin in his book The Future of Mankind.

Eclipse Phase has undergone transformations of its own over the years. In 2009 the RPG was licensed out to Catalyst Game Labs, but by 2010 it was back with Adam Jury offering an an ‘amnesty’ for players who bought Catalyst controlled supplements, offering coupons so you could re-buy the products as Posthuman Studios authored ones.
