London Role Play group buys wheelchairs for local hospital

Geek Native first wrote about the Lewisham Role Play Haven back in 2013 when there was drama with the Health Secretary (then and now) Jeremy Hunt and cuts.

This year Lewisham are making a positive difference. The club, which has been described as one of London’s best kept gaming secrets, has raised over £1,000 for their hosts Lewisham hospital. An article on the club site explains how the money has already spent on wheelchairs for the eldery ward.

To make this happen the Lewisham club teamed up with The Friends of University Hospital Lewisham and spent time at London’s Dragonmeet Convention GMing and as volunteers.
