Created by the husband and wife team, Aleessandro Barbucci and Barbara Canepa, former Disney animators, Sky Doll is set in a parallel universe where spiritual love and sexual love are rival forces.
The main character, Noa, is a Sky Doll. She looks female, has no rights and exists exclusively to satisfy desires.
The first three volumes in the series have been previously released in English via a partnership between Marvel Comics and Soleil Productions and now Titan Comics will bring the fourth volume to life. Sky Doll: Sudra is due out in March 2017 and picks up after Noa and friends think they’ve finally found a planet were religions and people co-exist peacefully.
