Kaptain Kristian makes the case that X-Men movies should feature colourful costumes.
One part of the argument is that the movies should stay more faithful to the comic books. Why? The X-Men and their creators have earned it. There is a legacy to respect. However, Kristian goes beyond that fan pitch to suggest that the colours are part of the X-Men, they show the contrasting relationships in the team and how each mutant is something of an outsider.
