Daniel Radcliffe as a magical thief in the Now You Can See Me 2 trailer

I rather liked Now You Can See Me. I went to watch it with no expectations but it worked really well. It was smartly written and different enough to be interesting.

As much as I liked the original I didn’t expect there to be a sequel. There is and they’ve gone for a quirly, probably clever, choice with Daniel Radcliffe, aka Harry Potter, as a new character.

There’s plenty of other big names in the flick too. They include Jesse Eisenberg, Woody Harrelson, Dave Franco, Lizzy Caplan, Mark Ruffalo and Michael Caine. I’m sure there’s been much discussion into releasing the film so close to Batman v Superman: Dawn of Justice given Jesse Eisenberg’s role in both.

The movie out in the States in June.
