Jay Gunn’s Surface Tension gets ready to break

Jay Gunn’s Surface Tension was picked as one of the best mini-series in 2015 by Comic Book Resources. Now Titan Comics has picked up the creator-owned collection and it’s easy to see why the title caused a stir.

The 192-paged softcover will be on sale from February 10th. That’s a date where 99% of humanity has been drawn into the sea by a strange coral and only a few survivors are left on a remote British island.

The drama picks up a notch when two apparent survivors are washed up on the beach. Yes, sure, they’re blue but they’re still alive.

Surface Tension is a psychological horror, already a success, that looks set to break into a much larger audience. I’m certainly tempted by the series.
