Shinobii’s Xcross Remote – a Wii remote with a wider D-pad

Tempted by the rare, expensive and fashionable black Wii? You’re not the only one. Sometimes frustrated by how narrow the Wiimote’s D-pad can be when you’re swinging it around? Maybe?

Accessory maker Shinobii are betting that enough people will want a black Wiimote and a wider D-pad as they’ve released the Xcross Remote. It’s black. It has a wider d-pad.

The Xcross Remote has a built in MotionPlus sensor, the usual vibration, built-in speaker and a 5m range. Looks like it’ll cost €29.95 or about £29.00.
