The good news is that the most successful third party Wii game ever will come to Europe. It’ll come to Europe, perhaps, before we’re halfway through 2010.
The interesting twist in the tail is that Capcom will be getting Nintendo to distribute Monster Hunter 3.
Why? Not sure!
I had time to quickly discuss this with @LaughingManUK who knows far more about this sort of thing than I due to his work connections and he didn’t think Capcom would struggle to distribute the game in Europe. Nor are there any distinct advantages for either party in having Nintendo do the distribution.
Time will tell.
In the mean time I suspect this will be the first of the Monster Hunter games that I actually end up owning.
