Is Chappie the new Johnny Five? Short Circuit.
Neill Blomkamp (District 9) is back with another sci-fi. Chappie follows the story of a human coming to terms with people and people coming to terms with it.
It stars Sharlto Copley, Dev Patel, Jose Pablo Cantillo, Sigourney Weaver and Hugh Jackman. The marketing I’ve seen for it has Hugh Jackman’s name all over it, just as the marketing for X-Men: Days of Future Past. I wonder if this is a perk the actor particularly likes to rope into his contact.
