The Athena’s Daughters anthology went to Kickstarter asking for $8,500. They’ve nearly a month on the clock and have raised nearly $15,000.

The campaign is for an all female sci-fi and fantasy collection. The stories are written by women, the illustrations are by women and so is the editing. The concept is part of the campaign’s successes although mentions from io9’s Lauren Davis will have helped as well.
