A peak at the free-to-play Marvel Heroes MMORPG

Gazillion Entertainment, led by David Brevik, the creator of Diablo, let press get a peak at the forthcoming Marvel Heroes MMO in Gamescon this week. Those who got to sneak behind the curtain got to take on the roles of the iconic Marvel characters, fighting against Megneto in the streets of Mutant Town and Fort Stryker.

The main story arc of the MMO is a battle against Doctor Doom who has himself a Cosmic Cube.

Brevik told press;

“We are incredibly excited to unveil Marvel Heroes to the European media for the first time during gamescom 2012,”

“The game really is the perfect blend of action-RPG gameplay, the persistence and multiplayer features of an MMO, and the incredible legacy of the Marvel Universe.”
