The Kickstarter funded sci-fi mini-series: L5

L5 is a sci-fi mini-series that was crowd funded on Kickstarter. Just. It raised $10,400 of the $10,000 it needed from 132 backers. For $5 you would have had a mention on the site. For $10,000 you would have had a host of goodies including a spacesuit from the filming.

The series paints a typically grim picture of the future – we’ve destroyed the planet. It’s a last throw of the dice when a team blasts off to check a planet for a possible relocation. When they return to Earth they find things are not as they would expect…
