Is this spider monster too scary for any LARP?

This blogger asked the question Are Air Swimmers any good LARPs?. The answer seems to be no. They’re too fragile. Oh, I suppose a clever team of GMs could have a shark swim through the air as a very clever effect.

This video is attempt 2. TD Artwork has just finished creating a very large spider puppet. Once again I’m not sure you’d want gamers whacking the creation too hard but could you not use this in a really cool staged encounter?

The same guy/team is also responsible for an animatronic velociraptor that is also designed to be worn as a suit.
