Resolution Games and Wizards of the Coast have launched the tactical board game Demeo x Dungeons & Dragons: Battlemarked on Xbox today, 22 September 2026, alongside a third story expansion. The Stockholm-based developer is expanding the title across platforms, bringing turn-based combat and cross-play to Microsoft consoles to join an established player base on PC, current-generation consoles, and virtual reality headsets.

Players command a party of up to four heroes drawn from eight classes, using a symbol-based Combat Die for attacks and a numeric d20 Skill Die to resolve roleplaying game checks like deception and intimidation. The new expansion, Campaign III: Twilight’s End, provides roughly six hours of plot across the Silver Marches, Neverwinter Wood, and Icewind Dale. This release concludes the specific story arc established in the Embers of Chaos and Crown of Frost campaigns.
The Xbox and Steam versions introduce a couch co-op mode that supports multiple controllers, bringing the digital game closer to a physical tabletop experience. Nintendo Switch 2 and PlayStation platforms support pass-and-play with a shared controller. However, players using virtual reality headsets cannot access these local multiplayer features.
The publisher markets this expansion as a climactic conclusion to the current plot, leaving the game’s future unconfirmed beyond the upcoming Nintendo Switch 2 and PICO ports of the third campaign.
