Rebellion will mark the annual Day of Dredd on 3 October 2026 with a coordinated series of creator signing events across eleven UK cities and Prague, Czechia. The nationwide initiative brings veteran and modern Judge Dredd creators into independent comic shops to anchor promotions ahead of the character’s 50th anniversary in February 2027.

Flagship signings are concentrated in Forbidden Planet and Forbidden Planet International stores, featuring foundational talent alongside contemporary series artists. Dredd co-creator John Wagner headlines the London Shaftesbury Avenue roster alongside Liam Sharp, Chris Weston, and Dan Cornwell, while seminal artist Mick McMahon will appear at the Southampton branch. The tour also expands into mainland Europe via Prague bookshop Krakatit, supported by local Czech licensee CREW.
Creator Lineups by Location
The full signing schedule spans twelve retail locations across the UK and Czechia:

Forbidden Planet International stores will handle the northern and devolved circuits, with artist Colin MacNeil and writer-artist Tom Foster stationed at Glasgow’s Sauchiehall Street shop, while long-time writer Andy Diggle and Robbie Morrison cover Manchester. Despite this wide spread, Scottish readers outside the west coast might feel a slight sting: Edinburgh’s South Bridge store sits entirely empty on the roster, meaning east-coast locals and Geek Native’s home crew will need an M8 bus pass or a train ticket to Glasgow to get their collections stamped.
Across mainland Europe, Prague acts as the lone continental bridgehead. Edinburgh-based artist Stewart K Moore will represent the brand at Krakatit, tying into CREW’s ongoing Czech translations of the strip.
Beyond retail appearances, Rebellion is leveraging the push to direct new readers toward collected editions rather than standard periodical floppies. The press initiative specifically champions Judge Dredd: The Complete Case Files and the curated Essential Judge Dredd graphic novel line, giving new readers an extended onboarding runway before the brand hits its five-decade publishing milestone next year.
Specific signing hours, queuing rules, and store-specific signing limits have not yet been posted by the individual branches. Readers planning to attend should check directly with local hosts via Forbidden Planet stores or Forbidden Planet International for wristband requirements and timing announcements.
