Halo Studios and London-based Laced Records have announced that the original soundtracks from the first three Halo video games are being released on vinyl in a new Spartan Green variant. Timed to tie in with the upcoming release of Halo: Campaign Evolved, the soundtracks for Halo: Combat Evolved, Halo 2, and Halo 3 will be available both as individual sets and combined within a special premium 8LP collector’s box set. Pre-orders for the collection have officially opened exclusively through the publisher’s online store.

The standard black vinyl editions will see a wider commercial release through global retail partners, but the limited Spartan Green colourway remains available only on the specialist label’s storefront. The expansive 8LP collector’s box set features 83 specially remastered audio tracks spanning the franchise’s definitive original trilogy era. The packaging features a rigid board collector’s box utilising a United Nations Space Command design by Maren Landsnes, completed with a silver laminate wrap and a debossed franchise logo.
The individual gatefold sleeves feature original illustrations by artist Isaac Hannaford, the former lead concept artist on Halo 3, Halo 3: ODST, and Halo Reach. This ensures that the visual identity of the physical release strictly aligns with the historical production era of the games. The individual packages break down into a 2LP set containing 26 remastered tracks from the 2001 debut game, a 3LP set with 26 tracks from the 2004 sequel, and a 3LP set compiling 31 tracks from the 2007 trilogy conclusion.
While the audio presentation targets high-end collectors, consumers should note that all promotional imagery distributed at launch consists of digital mock-ups rather than finished physical products, indicating that manufacturing timelines are still progressing. The launch also occurs during a turbulent period for franchise heritage, following recent industry reports that the original series creator, Bungie, faces significant internal restructuring and downsizing after concluding its independent narrative arcs elsewhere.
