R. Talsorian Games Inc. has officially released Night City 2045, a major 312-page sourcebook providing a comprehensive guide to the definitive setting of the Cyberpunk RED tabletop roleplaying game. The book is available immediately in digital formats via DriveThruRPG and the Demiplane Cyberpunk RED Nexus, while physical distribution is scheduled to begin shipping globally on 24 June 2026.
The new publication details the geography, government, and logistics of Night City during the Time of the Red, bridging the narrative gap between classic tabletop lore and modern interpretations. The release is timed to coincide with a wider digital launch, featuring a free Roll20 map add-on bundled with digital unlocks on the Demiplane platform, as well as a broader franchise spotlight sale across connected digital marketplaces.
A district-by-district breakdown forms the core of the book, mapping out 24 distinct zones with individual breakdowns of local leadership, demographics, and recent historical events. To support game masters running sessions, the text introduces 44 street-level gangs, six criminal organisations, 23 corporate security providers, and 99 dedicated non-player character stat blocks ranging from corporate enforcers to everyday citizens. Over 600 specific locations, including clinics, megabuildings, and corporate fortresses, are detailed across the included cartography.
The integration with virtual tabletop platforms represents a key focus for this release. Digital purchases unlocked via the companion platform include six distinct district maps populated with interactive map pins, built-in distance calculation tools, and built-in faction trackers to monitor shifting street-level influence.
