London-based developer Brave Alice Games has returned to Kickstarter to fund the third phase of development for its 3D virtual tabletop platform. RPG Stories VTT: Infinite Worlds introduces a massive expansion DLC that significantly enhances the software’s map-making and online multiplayer capabilities. The campaign, which was funded within three hours of launch, runs until June 2, 2026, and promises to deliver rapid, intuitive world-building tools for roleplaying games of all genres.
The virtual tabletop market is undergoing significant shifts in 2026. With Wizards of the Coast preparing to sunset its in-house 3D platform, Sigil, by October, and Foundry VTT celebrating its sixth anniversary with major updates this May, players are actively seeking robust, feature-rich alternatives. RPG Stories VTT aims to capture this audience by focusing on a “click and draw” auto-build system. The platform allows game masters to rapidly construct intricate environments, from sci-fi cities to fantasy dungeons, without needing extensive 3D modelling experience.
Enhanced Multiplayer and Steam Workshop Integration
A standout feature of the Infinite Worlds expansion is the ability for users to seamlessly integrate external resources directly into the virtual space. Game masters can open any web-based ruleset within the software and attach PDFs, quest notes, and custom audio files to specific locations or objects. As characters navigate the 3D environment, they will trigger these audio cues and discover documents organically based on their proximity.
Brave Alice Games is also leaning heavily into user-generated content. The development team has confirmed that all custom creations, including tailored auto-build brushes and 3D models, can be uploaded and shared via the Steam Workshop.
All these new tools and features have one ultimate goal: to allow users to co-create with us and fuel the community with infinite user-generated content,” states the development team. “Together, we will bring ‘Infinite Worlds’ to RPG Stories VTT.”
Standout Pledge Options
The campaign avoids an overwhelming shopping menu of options by summarising the most interesting, high-value digital bundles for both new and returning users in a focused structure. Returning players can grab the expansion outright, while newcomers have access to the core software bundled. The most interesting tiers provide solutions for entire gaming groups.
- Pledge £19: Infinite Worlds DLC. A Steam key for the new expansion DLC, designed for current users who already own the base software.
- Pledge £39: RPG Stories VTT & Infinite Worlds DLC. A starter package for new users that includes Steam keys for both the main virtual tabletop software and the new expansion.
- Pledge £71: Unlock Player Seats – Deluxe Bundle. A high-value tier granting the main software, the expansion, eight 3D content packs, and the ability to invite unlimited players who only need the free demo version to join sessions.
All physical manufacturing risks are bypassed, as the rewards are entirely digital, with the primary software updates expected to be delivered in June 2026. This project is an all-or-nothing campaign and will only be funded if it maintains its goal by Tuesday, June 2, 2026, at 9:59 PM BST.
