Steampunk sub-machine gun

Neil Morrison describes this steampunk styled sub-machine gun as “first ever Steampunk build”. He’s happy with it. I don’t blame him! I really hope this is not his last.

There’s a commentary on his blog and a host of images on Flickr. They’re both worth the trip over to study in detail.

The pictures below are a sample. They showcase the wonderfully designed weapon. If you took it to bits (please don’t) you’ll find parts of a blowtorch, a telescope, valves, candlestick holders, leather, brass tubing and even a door knocker. It’s modelled on a sterling sub-machine gun but Morrison admits there’s a touch of Star Wars thrown in there too.
