Good news for those who love Alien games but don’t have the nerve to play them in VR! Survios and 20th Century Games have made the announcement that a ‘flattened out” version of Alien: Rogue Incursion is going to be made available for PC and consoles as Part One: Evolved Edition.
The game will be released for Steam and PS5, but (WARNING: speculation) it will likely make its way over to Xbox and Switch at some point.
Here’s what TQ Jefferson, Chief Product Officer at Survios had to say:
As a team that truly loves Alien, we’re incredibly proud of the immersive original story we’ve told with Alien: Rogue Incursion.
Following our great start on VR platforms, we’re excited to bring the Evolved Edition to PC and PS5 later this year so that fans of Alien can experience Zula’s journey wherever they prefer to play.
I know I for one am hecka excited, but as much as I love getting stressed off my pancake playing games where I need to avoid getting eaten by xenomorphs, I am one of the aforementioned people who don’t have the guts to do it in VR.
The game will be released for PC and PS5 on 30th September! Check out the trailer below:
