Scottish indie publisher Stout Stoat has taken Scurry: Heists in the Undergrowth to BackerKit for a third edition.
The animal PCs race against the clock to complete a heist, sharing a die that gets smaller as time passes and complications grow.
The game needs one person to be the Scurry Master, and the players are Beasts with simple four tag character sheets. The catch? They all share a single Scurry Dice to roll against challenges, where high is good, but the number of sides that die has are reduced with each mishap.
For example, if our beastly thieves take too long in a dangerous situation, the Scurry Master might chalk progress off on the clock. If the clock fills, then the die drops from its initial d12 to a d10. The result? Rolling high enough for success gets harder and harder.
The 2nd edition of Scurry comes with three new adventures and art from Yasmin Younane, Letty Wilson and VER
Embark on fast paced heists with all-or-nothing stakes through the Scottish underbrush! Perfect for fans of Fantastic Mr Fox, Redwall and Oceans 11. Now featuring three new bonus adventures!

Backers at £10 can go for the digital files for Scurry, or, if you have one of the previous editions, a different £10 pledge will get you a staple-bound zine of the new adventures plus their PDFs.
At £25, there’s a deluxe hardcover edition on offer for the new book, with the PDFs of the core rules and adventures.
Limited in number, and at a £45 tier, there’s a signed copy of the book and a woven patch added to the previous tier’s rewards.
