Let’s not call this a teaser because LEGO pretty much confirmed a D&D Gelatinous Cube in the forthcoming D&D set.
We’ve been tracking D&D LEGO rumours for a while. It’s looking, maybe, April and, likely, expensive.
The X-creet from LEGO AND D&D combined says;
Time to party up. We’re oozing with anticipation! Are you ready to build awesome adventures?
Gelatinous Cubes, one of which featured in Honour Among Thieves, is a type of Ooze. They’re also the invention of Gary Gygax and appeared in the original Monsters & Treasures book.
The ooze teased by LEGO seems to have a skeleton inside it, consumed by the horror, plus a printed shield with a Beholder sign, a key, weapons and gold coins. These might all be clues for other D&D LEGOs on the way.
