Cryptic Creative are working on miniature coffins to store your dice. With about three weeks left on the clock, the Kickstarter campaign has smashed the funding goal.
A “resting place for your dice” is handmade from wood, not 3d printed, and engraved. You can preview more designs or back from the pitch page.
There are many custom engravings on offer, woods and division styles available in this Kickstarter. Wooden coffins for your dice.
I would like reassurance about the wooden source’s sustainability, but these are small artisan projects, so they are unlikely to have a significant impact.
Cryptic Creative also includes some impressive dice in the campaign, which are worth a look.
This version of the dice box is 6 1/4″ tall and 2 3/4″ at the shoulders. Compared to the first version, the base has a lower profile, and the lid is taller, making it easier to get to the dice.
Things are never really dead around the graveyard. Ideas, random thoughts and comments tend to float around in the ether inspiring us to dig deeper. The ghostly gentle whispers from our backers can also be heard..
There’s a $5 sticker tier before the $49 standard crypt reward level. That includes 20 laser-engraved designs with three wood options.
At $69, the crypt is upgraded to premium, which improves the wood. Then, at $115 you can get one of each; standard and premium crypt.
Should be looking for gifts for four entire Ravenloft of Vampire the Masquerade groups; there’s even a $195 tier with four crypts on offer.
The dice boxes have estimated shipping of November this year attached to the project.
