I tried to force-skip the “trailer” for The Crown or whatever that Queen is Netflix has. You can’t. Don’t be me. Just grin and bear it. The glitch will save you.
There’s a lot of recap in the teaser for Season 3, but powerful stuff. Love, Death, & Robots 1 and 2, especially the first, were excellent, and I’m happy to be reminded of that in just a few seconds.
There are a few seconds, it feels like, for some teasers for season 3. It looks like Love, Death, & Robots will be just as mature and clever as before.
Tim Miller (Deadpool) and David Fincher (Mindhunter) created the series of dark sci-fi shorts, so, yeah, we kinda had it coming!
Miller told the press;
I’ll just say what has become volumes two and three, we planned as volume two. And then Netflix said, ‘Hey, is there any way we can get this on the service sooner?’ So this was the way we did it, by prioritizing a batch of them.”
Meanwhile, the supervising director Jennifer Yuh Nelson took part in a Reddit AMA and let it be known we’d get returning characters this time around.
We’ll undoubtedly see the three robots from season 1’s “Three robots”. That’s a short form John Scalzi who often works with Tim Miller.
It’s always fresh; it also looks like we’ll get plenty of new content as well!
