We’ve several new games and old settings on the way, and many of them are expected and heavily teased.
Spelljammer: Adventures in Space
The space opera of Wildspace will return with three 64-page hardback books.
- The Astral Adventure’s Guide – the core setting rules, with character options, space-spells, magic items and deck plans for spelljamming ships.
- Boo’s Astral Menagere – 60 creatures suitable for the Astral Sea and Wildspace. We’re expecting murder comets, space clowns, lunar and solar dragons and astral elves.
- Light of Xaryxis – an adventure for characters between levels 5 and 8.
Dragons of Stormwreck Isle
The previously announced, if only just, Starter Set. We’re told there’s a “more streamlined onboarding experience” for new players.
Hasbro, D&D’s owners, bought D&D Beyond this month and Dragons of Stormwreck Isle will have digital tools tool.
Dragonlance
We’re getting a board game, an adventure book called Dragonlance: Shadow of the Dragon Queen and a new “new way to play D&D”.
D&D Onslaught
Dragonlance’s board game isn’t the only physical accessory outside the theatre of the mind. D&D Onslaught from WizKids is a miniature strategy board game.
Campaign Cases
- Campaign Case: Creatures – customisable creature tokens that include 64 weighted discs in three sizes, sheets of illustrated creature cling, and a storage carry case.
- Campaign Case: Terrain – double-sided adventure titles, adventure clings, a double-sided adventure grid, and this also has the titular carry case.
Baldur’s Gate 3
We have an update from Early Access and a reminder the official launch is in 2023. We’ve had patches making what people might have experienced at first better.
Neverwinter – Dragonslayer
More computer games for the free-to-play D&D MMORPG in the shape of a Fizban’s Treasury of Dragons-inspired content.
Players become dragonslayers and hunt chromatic dragons and explore Neverwinter.
Legends of the Multiverse
WotC described the D&D actual play series as ambitious.
There will be frequent special guests, but the core cast are Sunny (Deborah Ann Woll), Kaiho Karoshi (B. Dave Walters), Bac Si (Gina Darling), Riddle (Meagan Kenreck), and Torven (Todd Kenreck).
The show debuts soon, on April 25th at 1am BST.
D&D: Honor Among Thieves
John Francis Daley and Jonathan Goldstein will release the D&D movie in March 2023, and it’ll be called “Dungeons & Dragons – Honor Among Thieves”.
