Whelp! The Forgers are fake. That cute daughter is an escaped medical experiment, a telepath, the wife is a deadly assassin, and Lord Forger is a spy.
Crunchyroll has announced their largest season of anime yet (partly due to the Funimation merger) and look who’s snuck their way into the list.
That’s an English subtitled trailer for Spy x Family.
Spy x Family, from WIT Studio and Toho, is due out on April 9th on Crunchyroll. Here’s how they describe the show;
World peace is at stake and secret agent Twilight must undergo his most difficult mission yet—pretend to be a family man. Posing as a loving husband and father, he’ll infiltrate an elite school to get close to a high-profile politician. He has the perfect cover, except his wife’s a deadly assassin, and neither knows each other’s identity. But someone does, his adopted daughter who happens to be telepathic.
