Amazon has released a trailer for Jolt, which will debut on Prime Video on the 23rd of July.
Starring Kate Beckinsale as Lindy, a woman who uses extreme measures in the form of shock therapy to try and keep her murderous temper in check.
It doesn’t work. Set off on a quest for revenge, Lindy is thrust into a world of violence and frantic action. The movie’s trailer feels like a cross between John Wick and Jessica Jones.
Supporting Beckinsale are Brady Bradley (Doctor Who, Game of Thrones), Bobby Cannavale (Ant-man and the Wasp), Jai Courtney (Suicide Squid) as well as Susan Sarandon and Stanley Tucci. No wonder there are shades of superheroes in there.
Jolt is directed by Tanya Wexler and written by Scott Wascha.
