October 1, 2010 by Andrew Girdwood Leave a Comment

Sad news from America; Stephen J. Cannell has died. He was 69 and battling melanoma. Cannell created the A-Team and was a creative consultant on the recent A-Team film. He rose to attention by writing for Ironside and Columbo and was more recently seen on TV a guest star in Nathan Fillion‘s Castle. In his […]

I’m gonna kill you fool: Second A-Team trailer

April 2, 2010 by Andrew Girdwood Leave a Comment

Give this a watch and let me know what you think. Does it do enough to calm any concerns you might have over turning the classic 80s series into a movie? I’ve only just noticed that Sharlto Copley who was so fantastic as Wikus Van De Merwe in District 9 plays Howling Mad Murdock in […]

Star Trek and A-Team mashup

November 28, 2009 by Andrew Girdwood Leave a Comment

I think this Star Trek and A-Team mashup is particularly clever because it’s such a good fit. There’s an A-Team movie coming and, I suspect, we’ll see more of the re-genned Star Trek and so this YouTube hit should have legs long enough for 2010.

The new A-Team movie is being directed by Joe Carnahan. It stars Rampage (Quinton Jackson) as B.A. Baracus, Liam Neeson as Hannibal Smith, Sharlto Copley as Captain (Howling Mad) Murdock and Bradley Cooper as Faceman Peck. The picture comes to Geek Native via Superheroes R Us, a fantastic site which you should all be reading.
