The Avengers (kinda)
The Avengers is not yet out here in the UK. Heck – they’re even going to rename our version of the movie to The Avengers Assembled just in case we confuse Thor for Mr Steed and Black Widow for Mrs Peel. What shall we do in the meantime? Why not watch this budget version of […]

Hosoda is responsible for both The Girl Who Leapt Through […]
Muv-Luv Alternative: Total Eclipse trailer
Muv-Luv is an odd name for an anime – but it has an odd background. As the title hints at Muv-Luv was actually originally an adult RPG. It was a storytelling, option picking, visual story of a game. However, after 2003 the adult elements were taken out and it was resold for both the PC […]
The Total Recall trailer lands
The trailer for Total Recall has landed and it looks pretty good. Based on the short story “We Can Remember It For You Wholesale” by Philip K Dick and starting Colin Farrell has Douglas Quaid a factory worker who has had his memory messed with the movie tells a story about a dystopian future. Co-stars […]
Avengers trailer: We have a Hulk
This is my favourite trailer for the Avengers yet. We see both Nick Fury and Tony Stark talking to Loki. Stark oozes his usual bullish charm. He runs through the Avengers – two master assassins (an interesting way, I think, to refer to Hawkeye and to admit on Black Widow), a super solider and a […]
