Sega have released the opening movie to Phantasy Star Online 2. Phantasy Star is a Japanese computer RPG with a proud history and fan base to match. That doesn’t mean the success of the online version is a sure-in, though. Just ask Square Enix about their Final Fantasy experiences.

Game of Thrones: Winter trailer
We’ve had teasers for Atlus’s forthcoming Game of Thrones computer RPG already – such as The Wall. This latest video from the studio is longer and is rather more of a trailer than a teaser. It’s simply called “Winter”. The trailer introduces the game, planting the action firmly in the drama we already know and […]
Fantasy Flight’s Petersen apologies for Mansions of Madness ballsup
It takes guts to step forward and say sorry. It takes twice as much guts to do so when you’re embarrassed about your mistake. So kudos to Christian Petersen the CEO of Fantasy Flight Games. Mansions of Madness is an expansion for Forbidden Alchemy and it had serious playability issues. In other words it snuck […]
Clockwork and Chivalry 2nd Edition
“The best British fantasy setting since WFRP 1st edition.” – Newt Newport, author of OpenQuest That’s how the email notification that Cubicle 7‘s Clockwork and Chivalry has reached its 2nd edition over on DriveThru RPG. Call of Cthulhu: The Wasted Land is an RPG for the iPhone and iPod Touch. It’s now due out on the 30th of January, 2012, which is quite a wait since the game was originally announced back in May. It must have taken a while for the stars to align. The game is being produced […]

All around the web today you’ll see the coolest RPG blogs post about Krampus. Here’s Stargazer’s post. So what’s going on? This is part of a Carnival organised by Nevermet Press, that features the impressive work of Steven Austin and is released under Creative Commons. This blogger has no artistic talent what so ever and […]
I Am Alive: Follow the rules and you might survive too
What will Ubisoft do after Assassin’s Creed. A glance at I Am Alive suggests the answer might rest in the post-apocalyptic future. After all – we can see building climbing will be important in the game. Mind you; Ubisoft’s YouTube page describes the game as “downloadable” and the cover says Arcade. It’s hard to imagine […]
Runes of Magic joins Score for More

Gamers can qualify for beta tests to games, special events, extra in-game items or personalised bonus cards simply by playing their favourite game and registering at Score For More. This in addition to the usual XP and loot that the usual game play brings about. There’s a wiggle, […]
