However, publishing transfered to Fantasy Productions (FanPro) after Schmidt Spiel & Freizeit GmbH suffered bankruptcy in 1997 and after Knaur backed out of the project. The license again […]

E3: Fable: The Journey
Fable: The Journey is a bold decision by Microsoft and Lionhead. We may never know how hard Peter Molyneux, Fable’s designer, had to push for this before he left the studio – or whether he objected. Fable: The Journey takes the esbalished RPG franchise is a whole new direction. It’s likely to be a Kinect-centric […]
E3: Ascend New Gods
Do watch the start of this trailer, at least, and let me know if you think it looks almost wargame like in style. I think it does. After a bit of digging, it turns out that Signal Studios, the developers, also created “Toy Soldiers” and so this makes some sense. Microsoft describe Ascend New Gods […]
E3: Assassin’s Creed III
Ubisoft have released a decent sized trailer for Assassin’s Creed III for E3. It features a new master assassin – Connor (birthname: Ratonhnhaké:ton, pronounced: Ra-doon-ha-kay-doon), a Native American, who fights with tomahawks, rope darts and firearms. It’s set during the American Revolution and expected out in October 2012.

E3: Devil May Cry
Hack and slash video game that made it as an anime – Devil May Cry also made it to E3 2012. DmC: Devil May Cry is still very much in development despite being announced at the 2010 Tokyo Game Show. It follows a parallel universe version of the hero Dante. It’s due out in 2013 […]
E3: Ni No Kuni: Wrath of the White Witch
This strikes me as one of those games that could be really great or really bad – but nothing in between. It might even be a game like Blue Dragon which some people found to be great and others hated. It’s a game from Level-5 and they’ve brought on Studio Ghibli to help with the […]
E3: Resident Evil 6
Resident Evil has transformed itself from a sneak and horror franchise to a game of action on an epic scale. Capcom’s latest in the series, Resident Evil 6, is due out in October 2012 for the Xbox 360 and PlayStation 3. A PC release will follow. It’s expected to support between 1 and 4 players […]
E3: Lost Planet 3
Okay, I’ll admit it Geek Native’s coverage of Lost Planet 2 may not have been very flattering. This blogger found some videos which seemed to focus on the jiggly boobs of the female space pirates. Was that what Lost Planet 2 was about? The official trailer for Lost Planet 3 looks very different. The game […]
