We saw snippets of the next Zelda game in Nintendo’s Switch release video and it looked good there. In this standalone preview video it looks even better. The game will be out for both the Wii U and the Nintendo Switch next year.

Are you excited by the Nintendo Switch?
I remember hoping that Nintendo’s Wii U would have a controller that let you go mobile, play outside and join in epic games like Monster Hunter. I didn’t get my wish but that seems to be exactly what the nextgen console from Nintendo offers. This first look at the Nintendo Switch (no Wii branding) shows […]
Destiny’s Rise of Iron and eSports
I’ve recently come back to Destiny. I started playing when the game launched, going from a pre-order gamer on the xBox 360 to stopping just after The Dark Below was released. My return to the game is timed with the late arrival of a ‘next gen’ console in the form of the xBox One S. […]
E3 trailer: Sea of Thieves
Sea of Thieves is a co-operative open-world MMO from Rare. It’s easy to see why Microsoft are showing off this gameplay footage – it seems to be great fun and important to work with your crew. Details are a little sketchy but many sources are suggesting the game will be available for PC and Xbox […]
E3 trailer: The Legend of Zelda – Breath of the Wild
Has there ever been a title so important to a games company? The Legend of Zelda is simply a game that Nintendo have to impress with on each and every release. Does the trailer impress you? It works on. The game looks gorgeous. The action looks expansive and clever. I’m left wondering whether actions like […]
E3 trailer: Final Fantasy XV
This is the extended trailer from Final Fantasy XV. The game is due out in September for the PlayStation 4 and Xbox One. The action takes place on Eos, a world similar to Earth, except most of the countries there are ruled by the empire of Nifheim. The exception of the kingdom of Lucis. No […]
E3 trailer: God of War IV
Sony’s God of War trailer is already one of the big hits from 2016’s E3. The YouTube clip from PlayStation has hit 1.3m views over night. Kratos has gone North, has a kid, is surrounded by snow and looks all set to take on the Norse gods. You can pre-order at Amazon.
E3 trailer: Spider-man
The working title of this game is ‘Spider-man’ but that’s unlikely to change much. Taking a break from the movies goes beyond picking a new costume for Spidey. Insomniac Games’ adventure features an experienced Spider-man. The PlayStation 4 game featres parkour, lots of use of the environment and, of course, Spider-man trying to balance a […]
E3 trailer: Death Stranding
Hideo Kojima is the games designer behind Metal Gear, Snatcher, Policenauts and many more. He’s been involved in titles like Zone of the Enders and Castlevania: Lords of Shadow. Kojima’s new game is called Death Stranding. It will feture Norman Reedus (The Walking Dead) and it’ll be out for the PlayStation 4. Not much more […]
E3 trailer: Days Gone
We already have one good looking, far future, post-apoc RPG from Sony to look forward to in the shape of Horizon: Zero Dawn. Days Gone is another, set in the near future, after zombies. Our hero is a biker turned merc and bounty hunter in an open-world adventure game. The story is said to focus […]
