Is It Wrong to Try to Pick Up Girls in a Dungeon? is an anime with very little to do with picking up girls in dungeons (it seems to be the guy who gets picked up) until now.
Season 3 shows the hero Bell literally picking some elfen girl up and fan favourite goddess Hestia is relegated to the far back of the poster.
Bell is a young guy who hopes to fight his way to fortune and success through success in the dungeon. Exploring the huge dungeon is a regulated and dangerous task, a whole city and economy built around those brave groups of people who go in to face the dangers and monsters that lurk therein.
The gods themselves, in physical form in the city, sponsor various groups who quest in their name. Our hero, Bell Cranel, finds himself adopted by a follower less goddess called Hestia. In the first two seasons, they battle the structure and politics of the city while occasionally dealing with the dungeon.
