Ricky Hawkins is the artist behind Inky Rickshaw. Ricky’s Twitter profile says they draw for fun and, pleased to say, Inky Rickshaw is a lot of fun.
The comic shows a hand rising from the lake, holding a sword. A lady in the lake emerges and says “Chosen one! I bestow upon you this mighty sword”. The young page watching asks, “Thanks, but what should I do with it?” and the lady in the lake whisper-replies, “Murder people”.
Lady of the Lake was drawn in May and is my favourite out of the last bunch Ricky has drawn. Other contenders are let down your hair and raising your spirits.
