Maximum Apocalypse is a $40 board game available on Amazon US from Rock Manor Games. After dozens of reviews, it has an almost perfect 5-star score.
Last week, Rock Manor Games announced that a tabletop RPG based on the post-apocalyptic survival game was coming.
It’ll be a Kickstarter, of course, and you can monitor for details from the preview link.
The quickstart rules are available at DriveThruRPG for a Pay What You Want cost.
In the game, you take on the role of a survivor and face, not one, but many apocalyptic threats. It’s the maximum apocalypse, after all.
The quickstart is written by Scott Uhls, illustrated by Gustav Rangmar and confirms a d100 system will be used for the RPG.
I can’t say I know the board game, not sure I’ve seen it over here in the UK but the quickstart video makes it look fun and straightforward.
You can grab the quickstart rules here.
