Mythras publisher The Design Mechanism has been working on a Lyonesse RPG.
Lyonesse is a high fantasy series by the hugely popular author Jack Vance. It consists of three books; Suldrun’s Garden, The Green Pearl and Madouc. It’s the story of King Casmir trying to unite fractious kingdoms under his rule while Aillas of Troicient opposes him.
As it happens, Aillas is also the lover of Casmir’s daughter. There are fairies, high magic and treachery and chivalry in equal measure.
The Lyonesse RPG will be a standalone game powered by the Mythras system.
Over on their forums, Lawrence Whitaker of The Design Mechanism shared some photographs of the inbound product.
