In D&D 5e Warlocks are magic users who attain their power by making a pact with a powerful being. Their patron gives the Warlock a spellbook called a Book of Shadows which enables them to cast three cantrips at will, provided the book remains on their person.
Redditor Captain Dinner Bell shared this Book of Shadows that their DM handmade for them.
Captain Dinner Bell explains that his Warlock had made a pact with a Great Old One and wanted to take the Pact of Tome as the boon. That was the day before the sessions.
The very next day, Dinner Bell’s DM pulls his impressive grimoire out from under the table!
This is what Dinner Bell had to say on Reddit;
Tangible elements like this can reeeeeally elevate the game and I just wanted to brag a bit about my DM for doing this for me because he’s too humble to post a pic of it himself. We even ended up using it as a prop for a little sketch some people from my group and I made together.
