Have you ever played the D&D adventure Expedition to the Barrier Peaks? It was written by Gary Gygax in 1976, back when D&D was only two years old and played in the Origins II convention.
The module was then published in 1980 by TSR and took characters from level 8 to level 12. The current Expedition to the Barrier Peaks is available as a 5e module, published by Goodman Games in their “Original Adventures Reincarnated” series but not too easy to find.
The adventure keeps on inspiring musicians. I can find a track by Dan J Schulte called Expedition to the Barrier Peaks from the 2014 album “Into the Dungeon” as well as the Olyphant track Expedition to the Barrier Peaks.
Yesterday, Loot the Body, a band that makes music and music videos about D&D and fantasy released a music video of the same name.
