John Lewis, a British retailer, has managed to produce the most popular Christmas TV ad for many years in a row now. It’s become a tradition. As Christmas approaches, some Brits begin to speculate what the John Lewis advert will focus on.
Christmas 2019 is about dragons.
Like it or loathe it, this little dragon will likely be a talking point in British shops, pubs and workplaces for the next 50 days. Is this as good as Monty the penguin?
The advert shows a goofy little dragon that cannot contain its excitement about Christmas. The result is firey and explosive – this is a dragon we’re talking about.
Amazingly, this dragon is living in a very understanding village and never seems at risk of encountering a torches and pitchforks fate. The locals grow increasingly disappointed as their own efforts to celebrate are accidentally thwarted, but fortunately, one girl stays loyal and sticks with the dragon up until the final attempt to have a Christmas meal.
