Concept art from Dying Light 2

The post-apocalyptic Dying Light 2 was shown at E3 this week. Set 15 years after Dying Light, humanity is barely holding on, and brutal factions vie for power.

The game’s hero, Aiden Caldwell, an infected survivor, narrates the trailer. We don’t see it in the video, but Caldwell parkours his way through the crumbling city, and the choices you make while playing the character will shape the game world.

Published by Techland, distributed by Square Enix and powered by the C-Engine the game is due for the Xbox One, Playstation 4 and PC in Spring 2020.
