Cyberpunk 2077 prequel: R. Talsorian Games announces Cyberpunk Red Jumpstart Kit

Cyberpunk maestro Mike Pondsmith has developed a prequel tabletop RPG to CD Projekt Red’s computer RPG Cyberpunk 2077. The Cyberpunk Red Jumpstart Kit is a pen and paper game set before 2077 but after the classic tabletop game Cyberpunk 2020.

The Jumpstart Kit is intended for gamers new to tabletop RPGs and veteran players. The box contains;

• A lore and adventure book for Cyberpunk Red.
• Screamsheets – a combination of in-universe news and game information
• A rulebook containing the essential rules for the RPG
• Six pregenerated characters; the Fixer, the Netrunner, the Nomad, the Rocker, the Solo, and the Tech
• Four maps
• Six dice; 2d10 and 4d6
• Undisclosed extras

Cyberpunk Red Jumpstart Kit is due out August 1, 2019 and will be available for purchase at Gen Con (booth 1852). The main Cyberpunk Red RPG core rules are due out later this year.
