The Orville is back with a second season. In the States, it’ll premiere on Fix on Sunday, 30th December, and we’ll have to see what the schedule is like the for the rest of the world.
Some might say that Seth MacFarlane’s sci-fi spoof was an unlikely hit, but it’s packed with talent such as Adrianna Palicki (Agents of S.H.I.E.L.D), Penny Johnson Jerald (24, Castle) and directed by Jon Favreau.
A particular favourite is Halston Sage who does a great job playing the inexperienced security officer Alara Kitan who, thanks to a high gravity upbringing, has incredible strength.
Alara Kitan, quite rightfully, often appears in some of the newer ‘Fight Like a Girl’ memes.
