Scott Pilgrim versus The World is a comic by Bryan Lee O’Malley. Our hero is a chap called Scott Pilgrim who must defeat the seven (not eleven) evil exes in order to win his dream girl Ramona Flowers.
In the movie Michael Cera plays Scott Pilgrim, Mary Elizabeth Winstead plays Ramona and its directed by Edgar Wright of Shaun of the Dead (and Hot Fuzz). There’s a lot of geek cred there.
